COMING SOONABOUT JACQUE’ DORSEY
Born in Newark, New Jersey, and raised around 9th Avenue, Jacque’ Dorsey is a writer, filmmaker, actress, producer, author, radio host, DJ and creative storyteller whose journey has never followed just one lane. Newark helped shape the grit, humor, imagination and real-world perspective she brings to everything she creates — and FROM 9TH AVE FILMS LLC is a personal nod to the place that helped shape her.
Long before social media turned “influencer” into a career title, Jacque’ was already working in radio, cable television and online entertainment. Through BKS1 Radio and A Dose of Reality with Jacque D, she covered entertainment, celebrity culture and the kinds of real-life conversations people were already having at home. Her on-screen work also includes multiple film acting credits, including The Red Bowtie, Key of Brown and The Grievance Group.
Across film, books, music and children’s media, the mission remains the same: create stories that entertain, inspire and leave an impact — while giving people a real sense of the woman behind the work.
